This
adventure takes place in the fiord of Porto Limnionas and since most
of the time you’ll be under the sea level it is necessary to
like very much sea masks and flippers.
As soon as you reach the steps taking to the sea, you can see a cave
of medium dimensions; at this point take a diver torch |
(necessary),
wear you wet suit (for the fortunate that have one) and dive.
Getting closer to the cave you’ll notice the water getting colder
and colder and once you reach the bottom of the cave you realise why:
the caves carries on !!
The final wall closing the cave is not complete and if you look under
the sea level you’ll find out a net of underwater tunnels in
which water is cold because it is soft water instead of salted; if
you resolve to carry on you have to pay a lot of attention because
there is the risk for the less expert to get lost; in fact soft water
renders the underwater sight very difficult.
The first part of the underground river presents some cavities of
air full of oxygen where you can take breath but as to the rest of
the tunnel we can not give you any indication being not yet explored…
