Jeep on the road
 
On the island there are many non asphalted roads that take you to unknown places.
Would you like to spend a different day? Rent a jeep and looking at a map start driving on small paths north of the island that will take you to the sea through numerous hills.
We suggest you a couple of them… Stenitis Bay for instance is a wonderful fiord with very calm waters where you can meet just the
  
  fisherman boat.
Start from the town of Maries, at the beginning the road conditions are good than it gets really awful.
A little northern than that you can take a similar road linking Volimes and Elies, on the left there are a couple of roads, one takes you to a local farmer country house, the other, if you ride slowly, it takes to the sea.
This road is a little better than the
 
previous one and takes you to a beach that is very easily reachable.
If you are not very good drivers you have better avoid this kind of adventures, you could get stuck and it is very difficult that someone comes to rescue you there in such desolated areas…
