You can follow this itinerary in both directions, but we suggest you to start from the tourist village of Alykes; you will discover some of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Zante island and you will enjoy yourselves in the most tourist places.
You can spend the morning on the fine sandy bay of Alykes or in the smaller beach of Alikanas. Along this part of the coast the water is truly clear, especially in the days without wind, and for this reason these beaches has been assigned with the "blue flag" from the European Union.
For your lunch you can choose between many snack bars placed everywhere here, but don’t eat too much as we’re going to suggest you something special for the dinner!



In the afternoon we take the coast road and we drive in direction of Tsilivi.
Tsilivi‘s beach is extremely long and well equipped for any tourist needs, but also between Tsilivi and Alykanas you can find marvellous sandy bay like Amoudi, Psarou and Ampoula, smaller than Tsilivi’s one but without massive tourism.
In this part of Zakynthos island you will have a lot of possibilities: there are the crystalline bay of Tsilivi with thousand of tourist entertainment on its beach, the local night life, the restaurants and you can make shopping!
If then you will decide to remain in Tsilivi area for the evening, there are a lot of opportunities for your dinner and to enjoy the night.

Where to eat in the area between Alikes and Tsilivi

PIERO’S GREEK & MEXICAN RESTAURANT - TSILIVI
In Tsilivi area most of the restaurants are very commercial and do not offer quality food, except one where you can taste a good Greek cuisine and some really delicious Mexican dishes.
The place is called "Piero's Greek and Mexican Restaurant" and it is placed in the heart of Tsilivi.
We suggest you to not to miss the Burritos or the Fajitas, indeed tasty.

ANDREAS TAVERN - KIPSELI
If you prefer the fish, just drive from Tsilivi to the near area of Kipseli, where you can find the "Andreas Tavern".
This traditional restaurant is maybe the best one on the island of Zante to eat fresh fish. Andrea, the owner, goes every morning to fish, and during the evening he will bring you directly into the kitchen to choose the fish that he will grill for you.


Shopping in Tsilivi area

ADAMIEION CERAMIC WORKSHOP - MARINEIKA
The handicraft laboratory "Adamieion" is placed near Tsilivi, in the area of Marinèika.
Here Dionyssia, the owner, works the clay creating splendid traditional gifts and objects for the house. You will have the opportunity to bring back home a beautiful memory of your vacation to Zante, and above all don’t forget to ask the owners for a glass of fresh lemonade!


Amusements in Tsilivi area

LUNA FUN PARK - TSILIVI
The amazing "Luna Fun Park" is placed along the main road of Tsilivi and it is a special park where inside you will find a cocktail bar, a field where to fight with your friends with painting bullets, a laser war game, crashing cars on the water, a tower where to practice climbing and inflatable castles for the children. It will be amusing to spend an evening here both for young people and for families with children.

BOWL’M OVER - TSILIVI
The second choice that we suggest you is represented by the "Bowl'm Over", in the hearth of Tsilivi. The "Bowl' m Over" is a two floors building. In the terrace floor it accommodates a cocktail bar, many pool tables, fusball tables, air hockey tables, while to the second floor you will find a second cocktail bar and four bowling playground. Outside of the building there are also elegant sofa with tables surrounded by a charming garden.

YANNI'S HORSES - ALIKANAS
Yanni's Horses is placed at Kato Gerakari, in a very short distance from the tourist village of Alikanas. The horses are so well trained that you don’t need any experience and also beginners are very welcome.
Yanni's Horses offers also a taxi service with carriages between Alykes and Alykanas and a free transport from and to your hotel.

KALIVA PUB - TSILIVI
Our third choice for your evening is represented from the "Kaliva" pub in Tsilivi, very close to the beach. We suggest you this traditional pub between many others for many small reasons that make the Kaliva pub the best one in Tsilivi. If you have children there is a small and safe playground area where they can enjoy themselves.
The pub is very large, surrounded by flowers and trees and offers a large list with cocktails or also the possibility to have dinner. Many local people come here also because two times per week they organize imitations of famous singers as Freddy Mercury or Elvis…very funny!

BLUE BIRD - TSILIVI

In the center of Tsilivi is placed, for who needs to rent a vehicle, the "Blue Bird Rental".
We suggest it because together with a large choice of cars, jeeps, quads, scooters and motorbikes, it is the most economic that we have found over the island.
