The
two towns
About 20 kms
from the city of Zakynthos, the small village of Limni Kerì is
at
the side of the hill of Marathia Cape, in front of the island of Marathonissi.
It is characterized by the small lovely beach of pebbles, shaded by some
cluster pines and surrounded by many local taverns that especially at
night gave the bay a peculiar atmosphere.
Limni Kerì is an ideal starting point to visit the caves and the
suggestive beaches of Marathia Cape or to organize trips to the close
turtles island surrounded by a beautiful sea and part of the marine park.
At the crossroad before Limni Kerì take the road
on
the right that goes up and in a few minutes you reach the mountains village
of Kerì.
This small lovely village characterized by small streets and ancient houses
close to the “kafenion” of the main square, conveys the idea
of a simple life in a place where time seems to have stopped.
At Kerì you can not miss the monastery and the opportunity to reach
the lighthouse place from where you can view an incomparable landscape
especially at sunset and from where you can admire the Mitzitres in all
their beauty.

town with some restaurants and shops for the tourists.
The beach is of pebbles but as soon as you enter into the water you can
