Lithies Tavern is placed in Vassilikos area, the Southern
region of Zakynthos island. Lithies Tavern consists in a stone building
surrounded by trees with a beautiful and relaxing garden where you can
taste our Greek cuisine.
In our family first of all we use to be farmers.
We have our chickens, our rabbits, we work the land to have high quality
biologic vegetables and we produce by ourselves the olive oil and both
red and white wine from French grapes.
In 1991 we decided to open Lithies tavern to cook for you with our products
and every summer many tourists come here to taste the most famous Greek
dishes and some particular Zakynthian recipes.
Having one night in our tavern you’ll have the opportunity to
try our traditional rabbit with cheese and garlic, our chicken in
red sauce, the pork cooked with wine and mushrooms or our special
beef roll filled with peppers, onions and mustard. Together with these home special dishes, you can also taste some of the most famous Greek dishes, like Mousaka.
In Lithies tavern every kind of food is prepared in the afternoon to serve fresh in the evening.

To
make special a dinner in our restaurant we suggest to combine our dishes
with the wine of our production.
Every year we produce high quality wine made with Shiraz and Cabernet grapes.
We are moreover proud of our own production of Ladotiri (local hard cheese) and Tsipouro (traditional liqueur).
