ham and cheese in a fried roll), aubergines balls or BOUREKAKIA (with
ham and cheese).
As meat dishes represent a great tradition in our island, you can taste
some local dishes made with meat that comes from animals which grow
up in our farm. So you’ll have the opportunity to taste our rabbits,
our country chicken in red sauce, our Bekri Meze (pork, kefalotyri cheese,
mushrooms and olives), our beef in the pot (4 cheese, mushrooms, ham
and potatoes), beef in red sauce, STIFADO (beef in red sauce with onions),
aubergines "Skordostoubi" (tomato sauce, garlic and wine),
zakynthian olive oil cheese and PANZETA (bacon roll with inside tomatoes,
peppers, onions and cheese).
During the summer we offer to our customers the possibility to have
their dinner outside, while for winter months we have a warm and large
internal room.
Every evenings we invite some famous local musicians to play live traditional
Greek songs (cantades) in order to make a dinner in POPOLAROS tavern
an unforgettable Zakynthian night.
