DESCRIPTION
The Sunset tavern is located in the old traditional mountain village of Keri.
Driving up to Keri, you will find Sunset tavern just on your right at the entrance of the village.
Zanteisland.com has selected this traditional restaurant as a special place for a dinner if you are near Limni Keri area.
This local taverna is a panoramic terrace overlooking the amazing sunset over Keri cliffs and it is famous in Zante island for its grilled meat specialities.
As you will arrive with your car you’ll see Yannis, the owner, taking care of a pork on the spit.
Sunset tavern is really the best place for who loves grilled meat as pork, chicken and lamb, all taken from our farm.
Here you can taste an unforgettable pork on a spit, the best Kontosouvli in Zakynthos island and delicious lamb chops or beef steaks.
There are also traditional dishes of Zakynthos such as stew, rabbit in tomato sauce with Ladotiri cheese, aubergines with tomato and garlic and tomatoes and peppers stuffed with rice.
As a great alternative to meat is the daily fresh prepared Mousakas, the homemade fried zucchini balls or just a Greek salad with fresh biological tomatoes that Yanis takes every day from his family kitchen garden.
The taverna Sunset is well-known also from local people so we suggest you not to come very late in the evening to have a large choice of food and to find easily a free table.

Hello, I am writing to enquire about your restaurant. We are a French travel agency, Sankofa Travel, and we have a group coming to explore Zakynthos from 6 to 11 September. As part of planning their trip, we would like to include a meal at a restaurant serving traditional cuisine. Do you offer a set menu featuring local dishes with a full range of flavours ? If so, what would the price be ? The idea would be to include this in the final price of the trip so that our customers arrive at the destination and do not need to pay for their meal, unless they order extras, of course.
