Xigia restaurant is one of the most appreciated by local people both for the quality of the food and for the unique atmosphere that only here you can find.
Taverna Xigia is opened both for lunch and dinner and during the day you have the opportunity to eat under the pines’ shadow with a stunning view overlooking crystal waters, Alykes bay and the Peloponniso Coast.

Here does not exist a real list... in fact the food is prepared fresh every morning and Spiros, the owner, will be pleased to tell you which dishes of meat or fish you can choose.
Any time you will come here they will also offer you a large tray full of baked bread with a traditional olive oil.
At Taverna Xigia you can taste many particular starters as eggplants in tomato sauce, baked cheese, grilled octopus and many others.
As main course there’s a large selection that goes from the traditional Bifteki (the best in the island) and pork in wine sauce to seafood as grilled mussels, fresh swordfish or king prawns.
We inform you that the fish you can find here change every day.
Taverna Xigia in fact serves only fresh daily fish from Zakynthos sea.
Recently the family that own the place has built next to the restaurant a snack bar and a swimming pool.

Xigia tavern is placed along the coast road that goes from Alykes towards the North of Zakynthos island.
The coast road will drive you up to a small promontory and then goes immediately down to Xigia beach.
On the top of that small promontory, on your right, you’ll have the parking of Taverna Xigia.
